Program Synopsis

The Singapore River is where early Singapore first began to flourish. Good for children to visit the places along the river to have an understanding of the socio-economic and political development in Singapore.

‘Maths Trail’ make mathematics come alive. As we walk along the river, we use a delightful combination of historical artefacts to encourage our young learners to record their observations and to use their mathematical knowledge to solve some interesting problems.

Activities include

• Making sense of the maths they learn in school
• Appreciating our historical heritage
• Understanding the importance of observing their surroundings
• Happy bonding time with parent/guardian

Add-venture Trail Information

1. 1. The Singapore River Trail by Add-venture Learning is a 1 day programme.
   2. Day 1 (Saturday) is a 2 hours physical excursion along The Singapore River.

1. • Lessons will be conducted along Singapore River
   • Programme materials will be distributed to you on the actual day of the programme.
