Play, Learn and Bond with your child (P1 to P3)(P4 to P6)

Parents will learn how games are spiralled in the mathematics curriculum and how they can change game rules to help their child in the learning of mathematics. It would be a hands-on session where parents would experiment with 8-10 number and geometry games.

Problem Solving for Lower Primary

This workshop aims to expose and explain to parents various strategies used in solving maths problems, including the model method and various heuristics. Parents will be engaged in solving puzzles and playing games to experience how puzzles and games are means to developing a problem solving mindset.

Problem Solving for Upper Primary

This workshop aims to expose and explain to parents various strategies used in solving mathematics problems, including the model method and other heuristics. Parents will be engaged in using these strategies to solve mathematics problems. Polya’s 4-step method in problem solving will be used as a guide.
