Maths by Mathematicians (M x M) is an initiative by a group of professional mathematicians who desire to challenge and nurture mathematically interested students.

This programme will be piloted at the Primary 4 level. All materials are written by mathematicians and taught by mathematicians. The materials are intended to increase student’s mathematical interest, critical thinking and reasoning skills. Maths by Mathematicians hope to provide students with the opportunities to learn from and interact with mathematicians.

Students will be challenged but will be provided with the necessary scaffolding.

Students must pass a qualifying test to be accepted into the programme. This is to ensure that they have the right attitude and aptitude.
